You can save money in your Piggy in the following ways:
1. One-off transfer from your wallet
- Go to the “Piggys” section and edit the name of your piggy
- Select your savings goal and tap “Continue”
- On the next screen, choose “Complete” for a one-time deposit
- Enter the amount you want to deposit
2. Automatic transfers
- Rounding up card transactions
- The spare change from each purchase with your Magenta Pay Visa debit card is saved to your piggy (e.g. €1.80 spent → €0.20 saved)
- You can optionally apply a multiplier (x2 or x4)
- If your wallet balance is not sufficient at the time of the transaction, the saving will not be completed and will be retried with your next card transaction
- Scheduled transfers
- You can set a specific day of the week or month for automatic savings
- If there are not enough funds at the time of execution, the transfer will not be completed and will be retried on the next scheduled date
You can change your Piggy funding methods at any time from the settings of each Piggy in the “piggys” section.
