If you spot a transaction that you do not recognize or have not approved, it is advisable to consider the following possibilities:
Possible reasons for the charge
• Stored card with a merchant
You may have stored your card on a website. In this case:
With your initial consent (e.g. through confirmation or push notification), the merchant can make future charges without additional approval.
This is done for faster transaction completion, assuming the usage is by you.
• Recurring charges (subscriptions)
You may have activated a subscription (e.g. streaming services, apps, etc.), which charges automatically at regular intervals.
How to avoid future unwanted charges
• Remove your card from merchant websites
This prevents new automatic charges.
• Temporarily freeze your card
From the app:
Section "Cards"
Select "Freeze card" on the desired card
• Cancel your card and issue a new one
If you believe there is a risk of malicious use:
Navigate: "Cards" → "Settings" → "Cancel card"
For a new card: choose the type of card you want in the same section
